Instagram is certainly one of the main social networks presented by the web, recently owned by Mr. Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg. For the few who did not yet know it, Instagram is an application that allows users to share images, short videos and apply filters and effects.
Developed by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger and officially launched on October 6, 2010, initially available only for Apple devices. Since 2012 it is also available for Android and the following year, November 21st is also extended to Windows Phone. It is used by around 15 million monthly users and around 8 million daily users. On 9 April 2012 Mark Zuckerberg acquired the application for about $ 1 billion.
Instagram on mobile
Instagram was born and is mainly intended for use by mobile phone. Taking a picture and posting it, waiting for like, through the appropriate hashtag, is a breeze. Different is the use that can be done by computer (both Windows and OsX).
In fact, there is a version for PC and Mac, reachable via browser at the web https://www.instagram.com, thanks to which you can consult your account, comment on photos, put like and look for other users. Only big limit, the publication of new photos.
Upload photos to Instagram from PC and Mac: the solution is called GRAMBLR
One way to publish new photos on Instagram from your computer (be it PC with Windows operating system, or Mac OSX) is to use a free third-party software, called Gramblr available for Windows and MacOS.
Once you start Gramblr on your computer, this simple software allows you not only to upload photos and videos to Instagram quickly and easily but also to add more Instagram accounts if you have more than one.
With Gramblr you can also:
- plan to upload images and videos
- accumulate virtual “coins” in exchange for a liking to images uploaded by users and then be able to use them to promote your images with the double advantage of increasing likes and followers in a completely free way.
- Connect to the official page of the website,
- Click on the button Download it here for Windows (for PC) or for Mac OS X 10.6+ (for Mac)
- At the end of the download if you use a PC with Windows unpacked the compressed gramblr2_win64.zip file just downloaded. Then open it and run the exe file.
- If you are a Mac user, open the downloaded file (gramblr2_osx.dmg) directly and install it like any common Application or software.
User registration with Gramblr
To use Gramblr you must complete a short registration (Email, Password, Instagram Username, and related Password )
Upload photos to Instagram from PC and Mac
Once the software is open, we notice a big Drag and Drop screen, thanks to which we will physically move the image we want to post without having to look for it in the meanders of our folders. Once you have uploaded the photo or video, click on the button with the word Save placed next to confirm.
At this point, you can click on the Filter button to apply to the photo or video of custom filters such as effects, frames, text, a drawing and more and at the end, after you have applied and saved the changes, click the Continue button to go to the next step.
The last step is dedicated to commenting and creating hashtags in order to reach the greatest number of people or friends. After completing this fourth step, we click on the button with the word Send. We will then have finally uploaded the photo or the video on Instagram from Pc and Mac.
Multiple accounts on Gramblr
If you have two Instagram accounts you can easily use both with Gramblr. In the first screen press on “account name” located at the top right then in the drop-down menu select the item “Switch Account” to open a small window. In the small window that will open click on the button Use new account, then in the spaces that appear type in the name of the second Instagram account and password and press the Create button alternatively, you can select the Use a new account button to create a second Instagram profile.
